TIL: Developers are a bit Creepy

Developers are creepy, according to the paper is entitled “On the Nature of Creepiness” which studied what makes people ‘creepy’.

As part of gathering some data, they surveyed a number of people to get their idea of what a ‘creepy’ profession is. Clowns and taxidermists are right up there but software engineers came out with an average score of around 2 (on a scale of 1-5) - hovering in the ambiguous middle. Less creepy than a writer but more creepy than a meteorologist.

I am not sure what to do with this information.
